Masters of the Senses

Last Friday night I hosted a roundtable discussion on ‘Perception and Imagination’ at the Philoctetes Center. The panelists included mastering engineer Greg Calbi (Sterling Sound), perfumer Sophia Grosjman (International Flavors & Fragrances), chef Nils Noren (French Culinary Institute), artist Philip Pearlstein and neurologist Frank Wilson. As you can imagine, with a group like that, it was a highly stimulating evening!
